Two travelers, two worlds, and a shared desire to connect. As part of Vignobles en Scène, Domaine des Albatros welcomes Pianocean for an exceptional evening blending music, travel, and Savoie wines. On one hand, Marieke Huysmans-Berthou, pianist, singer, composer, and sailor. With her Pianocean project, she travels the world aboard her sailboat Lady Flow, specially equipped to carry her piano. From port to port, her journeys, the landscapes, and the people she meets inspire her music. On the other hand, Julien Cartier, a winemaker in Chignin. After also traveling the world—from the polar regions of Antarctica to oceanographic expeditions—he returned to his family’s land to found the Domaine des Albatros in 2023. The name aptly evokes his travels, his connection to the oceans, and his return to his roots.
